L³ Summit: Embracing Leadership, Language, and Literacy
Tuesday June 9, 2026 9:30am - 10:30am MDT
SF0059 Policy into Practice Institute
Leader-centered, evidence-aligned sessions designed to turn Wyoming literacy policy into meaningful instructional change.

This Wyoming-based institute is designed for school and district leaders responsible for implementing SF0059 and translating the Wyoming Language and Literacy Act into sustainable instructional practice. Throughout this professional learning experience, participants will explore what leaders need to know and do to strengthen literacy outcomes through aligned systems, leadership actions, and evidence-based implementation.
The institute connects the science of reading with the science of learning, grounding leadership decisions in how students acquire, retain, and apply literacy skills. Participants will examine the role of high-quality assessment systems, explore effective use of literacy data, and consider how data-informed decision making supports instruction, intervention, implementation planning, and resource allocation.
