The session focuses on how leaders can ground district and site decisions in evidence by developing a deeper understanding of the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy. Attendees will explore the structure of multisyllabic decoding to evaluate instruction with confidence and learn to recognize effective instruction using clear "look-fors" that sharpen observation and feedback

  1.  Examine common misconceptions, assumptions, or barriers related to the topic and their impact on instructional practice and student outcomes.
  2. Explore the research, cognitive science, instructional frameworks, or implementation practices connected to effective teaching and learning.
  3. Reflect on current practices and identify opportunities to strengthen instructional alignment, implementation, and learner outcomes.
  4. Apply research-informed strategies and practical approaches to support meaningful learning experiences and improve outcomes across educational settings.
